Otago Rally ‘intention to enter’ now available
Five months from the start of the 2023 Otago Rally, competitors can now submit their ‘intention to enter’ forms.
As round one of the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship, entries are expected to fill quickly for the first major rally of the year.
After three years of COVID-19 interruptions, the rally will be back to ‘normal’ in 2023 with international crews again able to compete.
This is great news for those competing in the Otago Classic Rally, with an international star again likely to be on the entry list.
The rally route returns to normal too, with the popular Dunedin street stage to be held on Saturday afternoon, and the sell-out prize giving at the Dunedin Town Hall also back.
The Otago Rally takes place over the weekend of April 1 and 2, with a two-pass reconnaissance available for all competitors. A new recce schedule has also been prepared to alleviate last year’s long days.
Multiple New Zealand Rally Champion, Hayden Paddon, will again head the field, but who else would you like to see competing in April?
Submit your ‘Intention to Enter’ form HERE.
