The new MotorSport Online is nearly here!

Our new MotorSport Online platform is nearly ready to go live! The new MotorSport Online platform will be your home for everything MotorSport New Zealand. You can apply and renew licences, register vehicles and do technical applications, enter events and even manage your club memberships. Officials will be able to digitally complete a range of tasks too, making their lives easier and

The new MotorSport Online platform brings some significant improvements to all users including:

• A totally redesigned interface
• Faster and more responsive
• Simplified and intuitive
• Dedicated mobile app for smartphones and tablets
• Digital Licences & Logbooks

The new MotorSport Online platform is based on the Sporty system that KartSport NZ and Speedway NZ have been using to great success for over a year now.

From July 6, the new MotorSport Online platform will be the new way to manage everything with MotorSport New Zealand. We’ll be taking everything from POSSUM across to the new MotorSport Online so you’ll be good to go from day one. All your personal information, licences and vehicles will be ready and waiting for you in your account the first time you log in.

To get ready for this, POSSUM will go offline at 12:00pm on Monday 3 July. This means that no one will be able to access POSSUM for licences, technical applications and event entries until the new MotorSport Online platform is live on July 6. This downtime is to enable us to take the latest data from POSSUM and migrate it to the new MotorSport Online platform.

The MotorSport New Zealand team are really excited to be launching the new MotorSport Online platform! After two years of planning, research, development, testing and refinements we’re confident this will take MotorSport New Zealand forward to be leaders in the digital sports management space not only in New Zealand but globally.

What do I need to do? Sit tight for now. This is just to give you a heads-up that things are changing. When the new platform is ready to go, you’ll get an email with your username and a link to set a password and activate your account.

You’ll be able to access the new MotorSport Online platform from online.motorsport.org.nz and the new MotorSport New Zealand app.

MotorSport New Zealand will have comprehensive support available for the new MotorSport Online platform. We’ll be hosting a webinar on Monday 26 June at 7:00pm for all competition licence holders to show them the essentials of the new MotorSport Online platform. We have launched a dedicated support website, support.motorsport.org.nz, which will be populated with on-demand videos and quick guides for all aspects of the system upon launch.

The MotorSport New Zealand team will also be available to help users every step of the way with any guidance they may need to help them transition to the new MotorSport Online platform.
