MotorSport New Zealand launches Esport Pass

MotorSport New Zealand is launching an Esport Pass, an initiative to bring virtual motorsport participation in New Zealand closer to both MotorSport New Zealand and NZ Esports governing bodies’. This new pass will enable people to compete in official MotorSport New Zealand Esport events, for an increased level of competition and legitimacy.

In an exciting collaboration with the New Zealand Esport Federation, the Esport Pass is set to elevate the status of esport events by receiving endorsements from both governing bodies. This partnership underscores the growing significance of esports in the realm of motorsport and promises to deliver a series of highly competitive and officially sanctioned events.

As a special promotion, the Esport Pass includes a complimentary 12-month iRacing subscription for new members, along with the FIA F4 car, a package valued at over $175. This offer is designed to provide an accessible entry point for new participants to try the world-leading iRacing simulation platform, allowing them to experience high-quality virtual racing right from the start.

One of the inaugural events to officially utilise the Esport Pass will be the highly anticipated second Tri-Nations Cup, a representative competition that will see top racers from Australia, the UK, and New Zealand go head-to-head. Further details about this exciting event, and others, will be announced soon.

The MotorSport New Zealand Esport Pass is now available at a special introductory price of just $20. This initiative represents a significant step forward in making motorsport more inclusive and accessible, and we invite all racing enthusiasts to join us in this exciting new chapter. Early adopters of the Esport Pass will have the opportunity to compete in a series of FIA F4 and GR86 Challenge races on iRacing each day of this long Matariki weekend.
