Reg Cook aiming for the impossible in Bolivia

Join 77-year-old Reg Cook, a fearless pioneer in motor racing, as he embarks on a daring mission to set a new world land speed record of 550 mph (880 kph). Reg and his dedicated team are taking four land-speed racing cars to Bolivia, aiming to showcase Kiwi ingenuity and engineering on the global stage. This “Kiwi Can Do Bolivia Challenge” is more than just a race; it’s a testament to the Kiwi spirit of striving for the impossible and making it possible.

Reg Cook already holds five world land speed records, and he’s not stopping there. His next challenge is the most ambitious yet, and he needs your help to reach the finish line. Reg has made significant personal sacrifices, selling his house and living in his sheds, to fund this extraordinary endeavour. Now, he calls on supporters worldwide to join him in this outrageous adventure.

The Cook Motor Racing Team to Bolivia consists entirely of volunteers who contribute their skills and time around their full-time jobs. These passionate individuals, many of whom are mechanics and engineers, are working tirelessly to prepare the cars, fundraise, and spread the word about this historic mission.
