Kiwis – Born to Fly 3 trailer drops as final phases of shooting commence

The Kiwis – Born to Fly story heads to Road Atlanta in the U.S. in two weeks to complete the shooting phase of the third instalment of the series.

A line up of great Kiwis feature in this the last shoot of the episode. Ranging from drivers, team managers, engineers along with behind the scenes key players that feature in the IMSA Petit Le Mans 10 hour event across all classes at Road Atlanta that will wrap up the shooting schedule of this episode.

In addition to this the first “teaser” trailer highlighting a sample of the completed elements thus far will drop this week on You Tube giving a small taste of whats coming in Kiwis – Born to Fly 3. Its by far just the first tease of what is the most ambitious episode to date.

“As always none of this would be possible without the amazing partners we have on this project. I can’t thank them enough for the support that has enabled the Kiwis – Born to Fly story to continue” said Producer David Turner. Both the previous instalments have created a lot of interest recently with several mentions on New Zealand’s leading breakfast radio show Breakfast with Mike Hoskings. This installs the foundations of the concept that it has become noticed at this level and the resulting profile from it.

Team this up with KBTF-2 having nearly a five month period on the national airline screening to thousands. Thus once again highlighting the sport , its many talents and the business side here in New Zealand to so many not only domestically but globally as well.

“This next phase is perhaps one of the trickiest for the planning” spoke co producer Lyn Paton, “there are so many moving parts in just getting to Road Atlanta that have moved several times in the planning but thats the challenge in creating this and highlighting even more Kiwis. Its not one of the easier places to get to from New Zealand but the number of New Zealanders that will be there simply again backs the morals and indention of the series along with the passion for the sport and our desire to showcase this”.

Screening is set for early 2026 on Sky Sport NZ. Perspective Group equally thanks Sky NZ and Sport Nation radio for the on going support they provide ,along with local Motorsport websites for the on going coverage and acknowledgement.

Presenting partners Mansons, Tasman Motorsports Group, Hampton Downs Academy, Creme Insurance, Giltrap Group, AutoPark, Racetech and Harcourt’s. The support of these fine partners enable Kiwis – Born to Fly to happen and we acknowledge their valuable contribution, along with recently added official clothing supplier FASTMASTER Global.
