Kiwis – Born to Fly 3 production nears completion

The Kiwis – Born to Fly story had a busy period in recent months. A series of interviews taking place in Indianapolis, Brownsburg and domestically within Auckland and Hampton Downs. These form the foundation of the opening section to this final instalment of the Kiwis – Born to Fly Series. Post Production at Auckland’s Number 6 Post has commenced with scripting and narration for these completed sections well underway.

The next phase is to have these fully completed before late September when the team heads back to the U.S. and the Road Atlanta circuit for the IMSA Petit Le Man’s 10 hour event that feature’s a host of Kiwis to be included within this edition of Kiwis – Born to Fly.

“The people we have spoken with so far are fine examples of just what this sport is all about,” commented producer David Turner.

“The passion they all have, the desire to create a great future for the sport and the legacy that they follow have amounted to some very compelling words and given much thought. We intend this to be reflected in how our viewers will ultimately see this edition, to reflect this passion, its one we firmly share and believe in and these are all factors that lead us to start this whole process of Kiwis – Born to Fly several years ago now.”

The team at IMSA in the U.S. have allowed the production to attend this event as an official media company. This will enable the team to capture a variety of content during the productions time in Atlanta in early October. With so many kiwis across the various classes this will make a well rounded story of more kiwi success combined with more areas where once again New Zealand can be very proud of where it sits in world Motorsport.

For those that missed the second edition it continues to screen on the nations airline on all international service and will also feature in a months time on the CRC Motorsport show on Sunday afternoons on TV3.

Further information on the content and screening details will follow in the coming months. Perspective Group equally thanks Sky NZ and Sport Nation radio for the on going support they provide.

Presenting sponsors are Mansons TCLM, Tasman Motorsports Group, Hampton Downs Academy, Creme Insurance, Giltrap Group, AutoPark, Racetech and Harcourt’s. The support of these fine sponsors enable this final instalment of Kiwis – Born to Fly happen and we acknowledge their valuable contribution.
