Advisory Commission elections confirmed following 78th AGM
MotorSport New Zealand can confirm the results of the Advisory Commission elections held during the organisation’s 78th Annual General Meeting.
These commissions play a vital role in representing the interests of competitors, clubs, and volunteers across the various disciplines of motorsport in New Zealand. Each commission provides input and recommendations to the MotorSport New Zealand Board to support the ongoing development and governance of the sport.
In the Race Advisory Commission, Raewyn Burke joins Jeff Braid, who has been re-elected.
The Rally Advisory Commission sees both Brian Budd and Dave Robb re-elected to their positions.
The ClubSport Advisory Commission welcomes back Donna Elder alongside the re-elected Paul Walbran.
In the Historic Advisory Commission, Leon Hallet was elected unopposed, with one position remaining vacant.
MotorSport New Zealand President Deborah Day acknowledged the importance of the commissions and the people elected to serve on them.
“Our Advisory Commissions are essential to ensuring the voices of our community are heard and represented,” said Day.
“I’d like to congratulate all those elected and thank them for stepping forward to help shape the future of our sport. Their experience and passion will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen motorsport across all disciplines.”
